Medical Writer:
The medical writer is experienced in preparing manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide presentations, as well as review articles and other clinical documents.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in biosciences, medically related field, or 3+ years agency experience preferred. Candidates must have broad-based scientific, medical, pharmaceutical experience in clinical or marketing writing. Ability to handle client contact and deadlines is a must.


Medical Director:
The medical director is responsible for content quality oversight of a business unit. The medical director is also responsible for reviewing all project or client-related content for scientific accuracy and consistency. The medical director will work closely with other members of the business unit to develop and maintain strong client relations. Medical directors provide direction to medical writers in their respective business units. Travel to professional meetings, client locations and other project related sites is required.

Requirements: An advanced degree in a science or health science discipline; 3 to 6 years writing and editing experience as a senior medical writer in a medical communications agency; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and organize work, meets deadlines, multitasks, and successfully functions within a team setting. Must have excellent problem-solving skills, and be detailed orientated. Should have leadership experience and ability to function as a mentor for medical writers. Familiarity with several therapeutic areas preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, e-mail, the Internet, Intranet, and Prism.
