Medical Writer – Medical Devices and Systems: Part-Time Position
The medical writer is experienced in preparing manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters, and slide presentations. The therapeutic focus for the position is primary orthopedics and medical delivery systems. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, literature review, preparation of bibliographies, developing publications for peer review journal submissions, and abstracts and posters for medical congresses.
Requirements: The ideal candidate
• Must have an advanced degree in biosciences and medically related field, 3+ years medical writing experience
• Must have submitted multiple manuscripts to leading medical journals in orthopedics.
• Ability to handle client contact
• Meet deadlines consistently
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Team player
• Strong computer skills, especially in Endnote, MS Word, Version control software, internet searching
